OJCOWSKI NATIONAL PARK
Ojcowski National Park established 14 of January 1956 as the sixth national park in Poland. The main purpose was to protect rare flora and fauna species, among others Betula Ojcoviensis. Ojcowski National Park has 2145,62 ha what means that is the smallest national park in Poland. It spreads 16 km along the valley of Prądnik river and it is located just 20 km from Krakow. Next to its rare nature, the park characterises beautiful landscape and rich history. In the zone of the park there are castles in Ojców and Pieskowa Skała, nearby there is castle in Korzkiew, besides more than 600 caves and lime rocks creating fabulous landscape.
