OJCOWSKI NATIONAL PARK - THE ŁOKIETEK'S CAVE

At the begining of 14th century Krakow was attacked by Czech prince Wacław. Wacław intended to kill Krakow duke Władysław Łokietek and set in the city. Hopefuly Władysław Łokietek escaped and hide himself in a cave distanced 20 km from Krakow. Czech knights expected that the duke would be hidden in one of several caves aroud, they were searching them all, but soon they became tired. They found another cave and noticed spider's net in front of the cave. They were sure that nobody could enter, otherwise the net would be broken. But they were wrong - Władysław Łokietek entered to the cave but at night a spider made the net. Spider saved the duke. Today it is called Łokietek's Cave.
