CASTLES AND FORTRESSES


  Numerous castles and fortresses in Poland reflect difficult and complicated history of Poland. There is a lot of castles build during the reign of Kazimierz the Great, there are castles of Teutonic Order Knights, fortresses from the first and second world wars, fortificates monasteries, as well as fortified palaces build by noble families.
  Our proposition concerns mostly castles, fortified monasteries and fortresses located on the touristic route between Kraków and Częstochowa. In this region more than 40 castles was build, until now most stay in ruins, however still they are object of great interes. During the trip we will see following attractions:

 • Paulines Monastery in Częstochowa

    There is possibility to organise one or two days trip, in this case it's possible to see only some of the castles mentioned above. To visit all places one needs at leas 3-4 days.
